Our goal at GRAND Central Valley is to meet the challenges faced by those with Autism, NDDs, and their families. One of the most pressing issues locally is the great  number of people in the community waiting for diagnosis and services.

Why is the need so great?

Fresno has a higher incidence of Autism and NDDs than the national average. There are not enough professional practitioners locally to fill our great need. We see this as one of the greatest challenges and most pressing concerns faced in the Valley. GRAND and our supporters are seeking to remedy this problem by offering scholarships to outstanding students with the desire to change the landscape and the futures of our Valley children, through a commitment  to stay local after graduation.

GRAND has established a scholarship fund at the Central Valley Community Foundation. This fund provides full tuition for 10 graduate level students residing locally in fields related to autism. The scholarship program is currently open for applications and will be open until April 1, 2020 for the Fall of 2020!
